The use of stone in Caithness culture dates back to around 3000BC but walk any beach or road and your eyes catch 'a steen thit jist needs picken up' and holds our history. Griogair will guide us through layers of stone, from pondering on pebbles to the meaning and placement of rock monuments by people long ago.
