The Project
The Carnival of Plants has been developed to look at how being around plants and nature can make real differences to people’s physical and mental health. By engagaing with Psychologists, Mental Health practitioners and experts in Therapeutic Horticulture, a program has been put together which will invite people to make art in green spaces around Caithness.
Plant Drawing Workshops
Workshops through April and May for people awaiting diagnosis, treatement and managing the sympotms of physical and cogntiive health conditions. Sign up below.
Carnival, 23rd & 24th May
The Carnival will be a 2-day celebration of the arts in Caithness – with music from local musicians and choirs, art workshops for adults and children, and some more in-depth gardening advice, information and discussion.

Forse of Nature, Lybster
The pursuit of art in any form can be fantastic for building focus, improving self-esteem, reducing feelings of isolation, expression, community-building and engaging positively with the the natural environment. More information soon!
