Matthew

Hello I am Matthew Hateley. I have lived in England in St.Helens for 23 years, I have lived for 3 years in Lybster. I have spent 6 years in college, 4 in England and 2 in Thurso doing 2 years in ways to work. 3 in ways to work, 1 in carpentry and joinery and 2 in hospitality. 

I’ve always had a passion for history, and when I saw the Rising Artists of Caithness at the Thurso freshers, I knew that it would be a great opportunity for me to learn a whole new way of doing art and learning from this course.
                                                                                                                                   The art that I have created is mostly out of wood as I found wood very inspiring as it’s the perfect blank canvas to use.
