Ground and Memory

Ros has worked on organic dye and printing throughout the Rising Artists course. This has been a journey of love which shows in her work.

Ros Campbell

The wall hanging has been made with fabric dyed in tea, coffee, turmeric and red cabbage, applied with local plants and machine stitched together. Each square is the result of time taken to experiment with pigments right at hand. Warmth has been found in ordinary things, locality and patience.

This wall hanging is looking for a home. It would like to be somewhere it is appreciated, such as a cafe or community space. Email sidhcart@gmail.com if you think you know a spot!
Donations are welcomed and encouraged to Mikeysline – a source of comfort and support to Ros at a time of need.
