Plant-Drawing Workshop Tue 28th Apr Thrumster House

People awaiting treatment for neurodivergencies
Neurodivergence refers to brain functioning, learning, and behavior that differs from the societal “standard,” divided into innate (from birth, e.g., autism, ADHD, dyslexia, Tourette’s, Down Syndrome) or acquired (developed later via trauma, illness, or injury, e.g., PTSD, ABI, dementia). Both forms represent non-typical cognitive styles. This session will welcome conversation and experiences of waiting for diagnoses for cognitive conditions and the effect it can have.
These sessions are run by an artist as an inclusive practise, not a clinical practitioner. If you usually have a carer with you, please bring them along.
All materials will be provided.
This session will be:
– structured
– open to people of all ages
Accessibility:
– steps
– uneven ground
For more information on accessibility, please contact askus@thrumster.co.uk
