“I am a student at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. My main craft is jewellery work, but during my four years of study, I have been developing my interest in stone glazes, finding a way to incorporate both ceramics and jewellery together.

I am largely inspired by the land around us and the connections between land and sea. This theme features in both aspects of my practice. I’m driven by materiality and the deeper meaning behind the symbolism of different materials. To me, by

incorporating rocks into my work, I am creating a direct link to the land.”
