Art in the Garden
We developed a program of arts sessions with Thurso Community Development Trust with support from the HTSI and the Highland Council. Over 4 workshops, we will create artworks to permanently decorate the Thurso Community Greenhouses.

Mornings: Muraling
Cally is running a series of workshops which will develop a mural on the inside wall of the garden. This will be a collaborative piece with workshop attendees designing stencils of plants to add to the piece.
Afternoons: Willow-weaving
Eleanor’s classes will be in willow-weaving. Willow is a bee-attracting plant which thrives in damp soil, making Caithness a great place for it to grow. Attendees will get to know how to use the plant, and then work on a larger piece altogether which will remain in the Greenhouses
