“I’m Kirsty, I moved to Caithness in 2021, found a Codd marble during a dog walk on my local beach and my joy for finding sea glass began – I have been combing the Caithness Coastline for finds ever since.

Together with my husband and our 2 little ones (Aged 2 years and 7 months) I run Acarsaid B&B in Lybster alongside an engineering recruitment business. I have always enjoyed being outdoors, being creative and am usually happiest within sight of the ocean. I previously enjoyed art to a-level before those early years of ‘adulting’ meant I stopped making time to sit and create. Now Inspired by my growing collection of sea glass and pottery I have been creating all manner of items from mixed media wall art and jewellery to charms and suncatchers. I also draw digitally using procreate, sketch, paint and overall like to dabble in a variety of artistic medium whenever time allows!”
