Live Music Sessions

Music has made communities all through time, and each culture makes music which is unique to them. Caithness has amazing musicians and we’d like these jam sessions to be inspiring to younger and less experienced musicians, welcoming to established noise-makers and a place where styles can work together.

After a great jam session in July 2024, we would like to run four throughout the year, in October, January, May and during the exhibition in August. We would like people to come with tunes which do or don’t relate to rocks and stones, but mainly with the desire to create a cool evening where people can gain confidence in their music or singing.
